Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for washing an optical member capable of cleanly removing grinding tailing, fragment, etc., dropped out from the end surface (grinding surface) such as an edge part and stuck to the polishing surface of the optical member.
In the washing method for the optical member having steps H1 and H2 for subjecting the optical member 2 after grinding work to ultrasonic washing in a detergent, rinsing steps H8 to H10 for subjecting the optical member to the ultrasonic washing in water or pure water and a drying step for drying the washed optical member, a pure water spray washing step H11 for spraying the pure water to the optical member 2 just before the drying step is provided.
