Abstract:
PURPOSE: To economically disinfect and to deodorize waste by generating atmospheric pressure steam phase and super pressured steam phase plural times in a portable autoclave to vacuumize the autoclave and sucking out the atmospheric pressure steam from the top and the super pressured steam from the bottom of the autoclave then liquidizing and discharging the steam. CONSTITUTION: An autoclave 25 is installed with an inner chamber 100 surrounded by a double-jacketed chamber 30. Process steam is supplied from a pipe 6 to the inner chamber 100 and from a pipe 7 to the jacketed chamber 30 to make the inside of the chambers with an atmospheric pressure steam phase and a super pressured steam phase. When the inside is made vacuumed, the atmospheric steam is sucked from an upper suction pipe 9, and the super pressured steam from a suction pipe 8 of the bottom part, then condensed 67 and discharged to a waste water pipe 42. Waste is thrown into the inner chamber 100 to be disinfected and deodorized at a hospital by repeating plural times of operation of supplying and vacuuming the atmospheric pressure and the super pressured process steam to and from the chamber. Thus, the installation cost is reduced and the waste treatment is processed economically.
