To ensure that the weld of a crude material for thermoplastic resin moldings can be appropriately heated, in the method for welding the crude material for the thermoplastic resin moldings by which the weld of at least one of two or more pieces of the crude materials for the thermoplastic resin moldings, at least one piece of the crude material for the thermoplastic resin moldings of which has the weld, is thermally softened, then the weld and the crude material for the thermoplastic resin moldings or two or more pieces of the welds are brought into contact with each other and thus two or more pieces of the crude materials for the thermoplastic resin moldings are welded.
The weld is heated by moving an energized heating element which is shaped like a wire, extending almost opposite to the weld; and generates heat by energization, or the crude material for the thermoplastic resin moldings and consequently, making the energized heating element approach or bringing it into contact with the weld.
