Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR WIPING PERIPHERAL SURFACE OF BRAZING ROD-SHAPED OBJECT TO BE FIXED
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6380209
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To wipe off and eliminate a molten brazing filler alloy which has stuck to the peripheral surface of an object to be fixed, before it is solidified, by inserting the object to be fixed, through the insertion hole of a wiper ring at the time of moving the object to be fixed and allowing it to contact the molten brazing filler alloy, and drawing out the object to be fixed, from the wiper ring after brazing has been completed.

CONSTITUTION: Before a rod-shaped object to be fixed 83a is allowed to contact with a molten brazing filler alloy 91 on the way for moving it in the axial direction, the object to be fixed 83a is inserted through the insertion hole of a wiper ring 48, and after brazing has been completed, the object to be fixed 83a is moved in the reverse direction and drawn out of the wiper ring 48, by which the peripheral surface of the object to be fixed before the brazing filler alloy which has stuck to its peripheral surface is solidified. The insertion hole of the wiper ring 48 is smaller than the outside diameter of an inserting part of the object to be fixed, and also, the wiper ring 48 is an elastic member, therefore, the brazing filler alloy which has stuck to the tip side from the wiper ring 48 is wiped off to the thickness of at least ≤1μm by a sealing effect.
