Abstract:
To provide a medical instrument having a new structure relating to an anastomosis device and a method for arranging and performing anastomosis of a body tube using an anchoring sleeve.
The device for surgical anastomosis has a tubular body 102 having an onion-shaped portion 114. The onion-shaped portion is formed in the vicinity of the distal end of the tubular body. The device has a sleeve 104 having a radius sized so as to slidably receive the tubular body, the device has a plunger assembly sized so as to be slidably received into the central lumen of the tubular body. The plunger assembly has a distal end structured and adapted so as to deploy the onion-shaped portion.
