Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of diagnosing liver fibrosis after a fontan procedure on the basis of a new biomarker reflecting the liver fibrosis after the fontan procedure.SOLUTION: A method for detecting liver fibrosis after a fontan procedure includes (i) a step for detecting at least an either marker of 12-HETE or lactic acid in a biological sample derived from a subject from whom liver fibrosis after a fontan procedure, and (ii) a step for detecting the existence/nonexistence of the liver fibrosis after the fontan procedure on the basis of a result of the step (i).SELECTED DRAWING: None
