Abstract:
To provide a method for disassembling a process cartridge by which a coupling pin being a coupling member coupling two housings constituting a process cartridge and having structure capable of surely preventing falling can be disassembled without damaging a functional member such as an electrifying roll.
A such stage is constituted that the coupling pin is extruded to the outside of a housing by inserting a pin extruding tool from an aperture for exposure in the coupling pin, which can be accessed by inserting a cutting means having an ultrasonically vibrated edge from the aperture for exposure and cutting and removing the regulating member of the coupling pin, and then pressing the coupling pin by a predetermined pressure.
