Title:
METHOD FOR DISCHARGING LIQUID STORED IN CONTAINER ON CENTRIFUGAL ROTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3853253
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discharging automatically liquid stored in a pressurizing container after transferring a liquid sample into another sample container on a centrifugal rotor without touching at all the sample container, the pressurizing container, a communicating tube and other equipment disposed on the centrifugal rotor.
SOLUTION: This method is characterized as follows: a liquid is injected from the outside into the pressurizing container 1 on the rotating centrifugal rotor R, and the air pressure in the sample container communicated with the pressurizing container 1 is raised, to thereby transfer a sample solution to another sample container, and mix and stir the solution; thereafter, the liquid injection into the pressurizing container 1 is stopped, and the rotational frequency of the centrifugal rotor R is reduced, and the water level in a liquid discharge pipe 3 communicated with the bottom part (the direction of a centrifugal force) of the pressurizing container 1 is raised (the direction of a counter centrifugal force); and thereby the liquid in the pressurizing container 1 overflows from a liquid discharge port Ex1 of the liquid discharge pipe 3, to thereby discharge the liquid stored in the pressurizing container 1.
