Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating a fiber bundle capable of suppressing separation malfunction of the fiber bundle, and stably manufacturing a fiber reinforced resin material having a sufficient strength, an apparatus for separating, a method for manufacturing a fiber reinforced resin material, and an apparatus for manufacturing.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a fiber reinforced resin material includes the steps of; separating a long-sized fiber bundle f2 at a fiber separation part 62 of an apparatus 60 for separating to make a fiber bundle f3; successively spreading the fiber bundle f3 at a spreading part 64 to make a fiber bundle f4; cutting the fiber bundle f4 after spreading; forming a sheet-like fiber bundle group composed of a plurality of cut fiber bundles; and impregnating the sheet-like fiber bundle group with a resin to obtain the fiber reinforced resin material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
