Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an arrangement for internal combustion engine, in which the entire system is made of an engine and a power take-off system and rotation of engine is taken off via transmission consisting of planetary gear and others, so as to reduce vibration of the entire system and to take off rotational driving force smmothly. CONSTITUTION:The system of this invention consists of an engine section 7 and a rotational driving force take-off section 8. In the engine section 7, suction and exhaust ports 24 and ignition plug 22 are disposed at its peripheral portion and four leaf-like members 16a are provided on the inside such that they are supported on shaft 17 uniformly. In the power take-off section 8, on the other hand, there are provided a fixed gear 36 mounted on shaft 17, planetary gears 41, 42 held in mesh with said fixed gear 36 via crank shafts 44, 48, and slide rods 27, 28 held in mesh with said planetary gears 41, 42 through elongated holes 46. Further, said planetary gears 41, 42 are engaged with gear box 35 shaped in a form enclosing the entire units on the inside, and rotation of the gear box 35 is transmitted to output shaft 31 connected to the gear box 35.
