Further, the value of the image data of the (L)th line is subtracted from the image data of the respective lines driven with the different polarity with the (L)th line until the (L)th line is selected next time after being selected, and the sum (refered to as B) of the image data of the respective lines driven with the different polarity with the (L)th line after the subtraction is found. Then A and B are used to correct and display the image data of the (L)th line.
