Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a suitable driving means for redriving of a loom when the loom is stopped for a long time.
CONSTITUTION: When a loom is stopped above a prescribed time and subsequently again driven, the loom is driven at a lower rate than a rotation rate in the stationary operation, namely at a medium rate, throughout a medium rate operation time in the early driving time. The medium rate operation time is determined in proporting to the stopping time, and the rotation rate is also determined in inverse proportion to the stopping time, thereby permitting to drive the loom in state not generating the breakage and fuzzing of fibers, even when a dry seizing agent is adhered to a dent or when fuzz is accumulated on warps.
