Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a metering pump and a driving device for a metering pump which reduce the pulsation of a metering pump, and can reduce the cost of the device and minimize the device, and to provide a vaporizer and an anesthesia apparatus.SOLUTION: The driving device for a metering pump includes a metering pump 16 connected to a stepping motor 15 and provided with an eccentric mechanism for changing rotational motion of the motor 15 into reciprocating motion of a plunger 16A to perform quantitative liquid sending due to sucking and discharging of an anesthetic by volumetric change in a cylinder 16D due to the reciprocating motion of the plunger 16A, and a control part 12 calculates the period T of sucking and discharging of the metering pump 16 on the basis of set anesthetic gas concentration and fresh gas flow rate, and sets a discharging period T2 in the period T with longer anesthetically than a sucking period T1. Also, the moving speed 16A of the plunger in the discharging period is kept constant by control of the rotational speed of the stepping motor 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
