To provide a method of driving a steel pipe pile capable of increasing working efficiency by adjusting the plugging phenomenon of in-pipe soil due to rotary press-fitting to suppress an increase in press-fit resistance, and also provide a steel pipe pile foundation and a steel pipe pile.
In a first rotary press-fitting step, a steel pipe pile 2 is rotated and press-fitted while the vertical downward displacement and the rotating displacement amount of the steel pipe pile 2 are adjusted so that the inclination angle θ1 of ribs 4 is smaller than the press-fit rotating angle θ2 thereof so as to provide an upward stress T to the in-pipe soil S for reducing the frictional force F between the soil and the inner peripheral surface 3 of the steel pipe. Consequently, the plugging of the in-pipe soil S can be suppressed to suppress an increase in press-fitting resistance for increasing a working efficiency.
