Abstract:

To provide a method for efficiently drying and classifying an object to be treated.

The method for drying and classifying the object W to be treated comprises steps for: heating and drying the object W to be treated supplied from one end side of a rotary cylinder 10 in a process of discharging the object W to be treated through the other end side; and classifying the dried object W to be treated. A carrier gas A blown through the one end side of the rotary cylinder 10 is discharged together with the object W to be treated through the other end side. In a classification space 55 after discharging them, a dispersion gas is blown up and fine particles C of the object W to be treated are guided and discharged upward together with the carrier gas A while the object W to be treated excluding the fine particles C is guided and discharged downward. After the fine particles C is removed from the carrier gas A discharged from the classification space 55, the carrier gas A is reused as a dispersion gas.
