Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for drying a substrate, especially a CD-R substrate or a recordable DVD semi-substrate which is coated with a dyestuff dissolved in a solvent.
The coated substrate is irradiated with an electromagnetic wave within the range of infrared. The coated surface of the substrate is irradiated with a short-wavelength radiation within the range of infrared having the maximum intensity at wavelengths between approximately 1.3 μm and 1.7 μm.
