Abstract:
To provide a method of drying plant biomass fuel, capable of preserving the environment by using used floorings primarily made from corncobs as biomass fuel and of efficiently reducing the water content of used floorings, and a biomass power generation facility.SOLUTION: A flooring preheating device 20 that dries used floorings to a water content therein of 20% or less is provided in a biomass power generation facility. The used floorings dried by the flooring preheating device 20 is pyrolyzed by a gas generating device 11. A plurality of heat sources in the biomass power generation facility 10 are each used as preheating means of the flooring preheating device 20. The plurality of heat sources are used in the order of lower temperature to gradually preheat used floorings. Used floorings are dried to a water content of 20% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
