Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for drying unhulled rice for forage not requiring any drying facility for forcedly drying unhulled rice for forage, capable of reducing a drying cost and restricting occurrence of moot of the unhulled rice or germination and rooting of unhulled rice and further corrosion of the unhulled rice also during storage and transportation.SOLUTION: This invention provides a method for drying unhulled rice for forage in which unhulled rice for forage is stored in a packaging material in which at least a part of it is constituted of a moisture permeable sheet and this packaging material is placed under atmospheric air. A moisture permeable degree of the moisture permeable sheet is 500 g/m*24hr or more and a water content rate of the unhulled rice for forage before drying is less than 50%.
