Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of air bubbles, silver, and the like caused by forcibly withdrawing a dwelling plunger after dwelling.
SOLUTION: When injection molding is carried out with dwelling and metering simultaneously by means of an injection device 1 equipped with an injection screw 11 in the heating cylinder 12 and a dwelling device 2 having a dwelling plunger 21 reciprocally faced to the resin path 14, a tip end position of the dwelling plunger 21 is limited in the resin path side surface, on the other hand, a retreating position of the dwelling plunger 21 is restricted in such an extent that a predetermined amount of a dwell-filling resin reservoir 26 takes place between the plunger tip end and the resin path 14. Also, the dwelling plunger 21 is set in a free condition in an injection and metering operation. The resin reservoir 26 is formed by withdrawing the dwelling plunger 21 by injection pressure and metering pressure. At the time of shifting to dwelling after the completion of injection filling by closing off the resin path 14, dwelling is conducted by press-filling resin in the resin reservoir 26 in the resin path 14 through the advancing movement of the dwelling plunger 21.
