Title:
METHOD FOR EJECTING LIQUID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3787507
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eject liquid continuously at a high frequency using a liquid ejection head having a movable member 11.
SOLUTION: A bubble 40 formed in order to eject a first drop 66a grows significantly to the ejection opening 4 side when the movable member 11 closes the common liquid chamber 6 side substantially in the bubble forming process and disappears on the common liquid chamber 6 side when the movable member 11 opens a channel 3 on the common liquid chamber 6 side in the bubble extinguishing process thus leaving a bubble only on the ejection opening 4 side of a heater 10. Since the bubble 40 has been extinguished on the common liquid chamber 6 side under that state, the common liquid chamber 6 has been refilled with a constant volume of liquid up to the ejection opening 4 side of a heater 10 and since the bubble 40 has not yet been extinguished completely, the meniscus is located relatively closely to the liquid ejection plane. When ejection of a second drop 66b is started from that state, liquid can be ejected well continuously at a short interval.
