Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate arrival of a reactive substance on the surface of a working electrode and remarkably improve polymer yield without performing stirring, etc., by carrying out electrolytic polymerization in the presence of a magnetic field for promoting flow of a monomer-containing electrolyte with natural convection. CONSTITUTION:Electrolytic polymerization is carried out in the presence of a magnetic field for promoting flow of a monomer-containing electrolyte with natural convection or a magnetic field so as to produce convection in the monomer-containing electrolyte. Specifically, e.g. N and S poles of magnets are arranged with respect to a working electrode(WE) and a counter electrode(CE) so that the direction (B) of the magnetic field may be the direction to produce force for moving the electrolyte in the same direction as that of the natural convection.
