PURPOSE: To scatter seeds far away without damaging the seeds in broadcast seeding and naturally embed the seeds in soil in stripe seeding, by accelerating and discharging seeds having a magnetic substance layer on the surface by an electromagnetic accelerator.

CONSTITUTION: Plural coils 9, 9... are provided side by side along the discharge direction of seeds and a seed discharge pipe 4 of an electromagnetic accelerator 8 for successively supplying pulse currents from the side of the starting end toward the side of the back end in the discharge direction is directed downward in the case of stripe seeding and obliquely upward in broadcast seeding. Seeds 2 having a magnetic substance layer formed on the surface thereof are accelerated from the side of the starting end to the side of the back end in the discharge direction and discharged.
