Title:
METHOD FOR ELECTROWINNING METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013119641
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a method for prolonging service life of an electrode by setting the voltage conditions at the start of power recovery after stopping electrolysis operation, in a method for electrowinning metals such as copper using a lead alloy as an anode.
In an electrowinning for electrodepositing copper or the like on a cathode by using, as an anode, an alloy containing lead and antimony, or lead, calcium and tin, a method for electrowinning a metal includes a process in which electrolysis is performed by gradually raising voltage while adjusting the generation amount of oxygen gas, from the start of current supply when power recovery is started.
