To provide a method for encapsulating carbon material into an aluminum by using a ball-milling method without damaging the crystallization of the carbon material.

The method for encapsulating the carbon material into the aluminum, comprises (i) a step for guiding defect and functionalization to the carbon material; (ii) a step for mixing the functionalized carbon material into the aluminum; and (iii) a step for ball-milling the above mixture under inert gas atmosphere. Further, the method for producing an aluminum-carbon material complex, comprises the above steps. The invention also provides the aluminum-carbon material complex produced by using the above method.
