PURPOSE: To surely perform error correction on estimated parameters of higher importance by more strongly adding codes for error correction to the estimated parameters of higher importance and, at the same time, performing encoding processes for error correction by regarding the error correcting codes and data as new data.
CONSTITUTION: Against written estimated parameters, a 3-word parity code Pm is added to each one set of the parameters and a 5-word parity code Q0 is added to each 26-piece gain factor LG and RG. In addition, a (2×5)-word parity code Q1 is added to 26-piece estimation factor Lk1 and Rk1. Then the estimation factors Lk1∼LG and Rk1∼RG, to which the parity codes Pm and Qn are added, and the parity codes Pm and Qn are read out one word by one word so that they can be interleaved at prescribed address intervals and the read-out data are supplied to a record encoder 73.
