Abstract:

To provide a method for energization heating, which improves heating uniformity in an energization area with respect to a non-rectangular blank, especially to a blank including a curved part, a bent part, a branch part, or combinations of these.

In an energization heating step S1, the first embodiment, an electrode pair 20 including a linear electrode 21 and a curved electrode 22, is disposed in a blank 10 formed in an arcuate shape having a curved part, and is energized to heat the blank 10. The electrode pair 20 is disposed so that the distance between the electrodes of the electrode pair 20 is controlled to be constant throughout in the extending direction of each electrode 21, 22 and also, the angle, which is defined by an end 10a of the blank 10 and an end of each electrode 21, 22, is controlled to approach a right angle.
