Abstract:

To provide a practical technique for enriching235U.

The method for producing235U-rich fluorouranate anions or oxofluorouranate anions is characterized in that electrolysis is performed using an electrolytic solution containing an ionic liquid comprising fluorouranate anions or oxofluorouranate anions of235U and other uranium isotopes and ionic liquid cations to thereby enrich fluorouranate anions or oxofluorouranate anions of235U.
