To discriminate the temperature of a water column by interlocking a color filter with the illumination transmitting position of a bulb and the position corresponding to the color of the water temperature, thereby emitting light directly from a water column to be mixed and discharged.
A faucet-like pipe is fixed to the forward end of a water/hot water mixing pipe 7 and a translucent body 10 comprising an optical fiber, glass or resin for transmitting the light emitted from a bulb 18 is disposed in the center thereof. A straigthener 8 and a flow-out port 9 are provided at the forward end of the pipe 7. Furthermore, a cooling water filter 11 and a conical color filter 12 are disposed in the water/hot water mixing pipe 7 along with a rotary thermometal 13 and a magnet drive coupling 14. According to the structure, a liquid column B of the mixture of water and hot water flowing out from the flow-out port 9 through the water/hot water mixing pipe 7 emits a light of color corresponding to the water temperature when the light emitted from the bulb 8 transmits through the translucent body 10.
