To provide a method for forming foods, by which viscous food pieces such as corn flakes coated with chocolate can be formed into massive products having many inner spaces without breaking the food pieces, and to provide equipment for forming the food.
The method for forming the food comprises conveying the food pieces 200 on a conveyer 102, inserting a forming frame 120 which is surrounded with partition walls 124 in the circumference and having an opening at the bottom comprising more than one sections 125, while shaking front, back, left and right direction and moving in the conveying direction of the conveyer 102, to the food pieces 200 from upward, and joining the food pieces 200 each other inserted to each section 125 of the forming frame 120 to form a block in the each section.
