To provide a method of and equipment for forming metal by which metal formed parts the strengthening or the ductility raising of which are attained are manufactured continuously and efficiently by pulverizing the metallographic structure of a material.
This method is provided with: a first heating step where a first die 10 having a discharging port for discharging a material M1 housed in a housing part is heated; a pressurizing-discharging step where the material M1 which is housed in the housing part and heated is pressurized and discharged from the discharging port; a second heating step where a second die 20 to which a material M2 which is discharged from the discharging port is supplied is heated; a supplying step where the material M2 is supplied to the second die 20; and a forming step where the material M2 is formed with the second die 20. In the pressurizing-discharging step, the metallographic structure of the material M1 is pulverized by pressurizing the material M1 from a direction which cross the supplying direction of the material M2 and causing shear deformation.
