Abstract:
To provide a method and equipment for manufacturing a pneumatic tire, the method and equipment can more stably and quickly form a sealant layer with a desired specification within a predetermined range on an inner surface of the tire.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire having a sealant layer, in which a space C surrounded with a recess 5a and a tire inner surface Ta facing the recess 5a is formed by arranging a head 5 having the recess 5a having a predetermined width and a predetermined shape in a cross-sectional view so as to cover a tire inner surface Ta in a predetermined range by the recess 5a using a radial pipe 6b that functions as a set mechanism, and a sealant layer SL having a predetermined width is formed in a predetermined range of the tire inner surface Ta by filling a sealant material S supplied from sealant supply means 2 through a supply pipe 6 in a cavity C by using the space C as the cavity C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
