Abstract:
PURPOSE: To securely and easily take a casting out of a drag by inverting the taken-out casting, removing the sand attached to the casting, and then, placing it on a product preset jig plate.
CONSTITUTION: An upper molding flask, a cope and a cope chiller are removed from upper and lower molding flasks incorporating the cope and drag after pouring the molten metal. The drag chiller is left in this drag 2, and the casting is taken out of the drag 2 while giving the vibration to the casting. The taken- out casting is inverted, and the casting sand is removed, and then, the casting is placed on a preset jig plate 37. This constitution allows the casting on the drag to be securely and easily taken out of the drag while the drag chiller is left in the drag and to be automatically place on the product preset jig plate 37, and also improves the productivity.
