Abstract:
To efficiently and economically obtain a polymer of scarce monomer content from a monomer-containing polymer composition.
This method removes unreacted monomers from a vinyl ester- based polymer composition by evaporating the monomers while stirring the polymer composition with a plurality of blades (5) of frame type that revolve and rotate in an equipment provided with a cylindrical flat-bottomed vessel (1) in which the monomer-containing vinyl ester-based polymer is held, and which is fitted with a heating jacket (4) and the blades (5) of frame type arranged to be revolvable and rotatable in the vessel to stir the polymer composition.
