Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method for obtaining a circulating gas mixture that is safe, simple and effective, where a malfunction of a regulating means minimally affects the density of the mixture, and a mixture of a fixed density is supplied directly. SOLUTION: A closed container 1 contains a liquid phase additive. A dip tube 3 makes it possible to deliver a liquid to a heating tank 5 that gasifies the liquid before the additive is delivered to a collecting mixer 11 through a constrictor 10. The flow rate of the additive is controlled by pressure existing on the liquid in the container 1 by the action of a control valve 20 connected to a computer 26 by a pressure regulator 25. The computer receives a predetermined value of the density of the mixer via an input line 27. It is preferable that it is connected to a detector 28 for the temperature of a closed tank and/or an analyzer 30 for the composition of the mixture. It is used especially for anesthetic equipment.
