Abstract:
To prolong plug life and improve productivity by cooling and lubricating a piercer or elongator plug and making the OK/NG judgment.
This equipment is equipped with a plug fitting unit 70 to fit a piercing plug 1 to a plug bar 10, a transporting unit 31 to sequentially transport the plug to a cooling unit 40, a lubricating unit 41 and an OK/NG judging unit 42, the OK/NG judging unit 42 for judging OK/NG of the plug, a separate and transfer unit 50 to transfer the discriminated plug to a discarding line 61 or a reuse line 60, and a moving unit to move the plug fitting unit 70 from the reuse line or a new plug supply line to the backward position of the plug bar 10.
