Abstract:
To provide a method for estimating an aluminum content, capable of simply estimating the aluminum content of a titanium alloy material cast using an electron beam type melting furnace.SOLUTION: The method for estimating an aluminum content in a titanium alloy material cast using an electron beam type melting furnace and including aluminum comprises: a conductivity measurement step of measuring the conductivity of the titanium alloy material using a conductivity measuring instrument; and an aluminum content derivation step of referring a calibration curve on a relationship between the aluminum content and conductivity of the titanium alloy to calculate the aluminum content of the titanium alloy material from the conductivity of the titanium alloy material measured in the conductivity measurement step.SELECTED DRAWING: None
