Abstract:

To provide a building response estimation method in an earthquake capable of accurately and simply estimating by reflecting the effect of bearing walls as well as non-bearing walls in the building having the non-bearing walls which have not been treated as a bearing force factor in the past.

The building response estimation method in an earthquake for the standardized building, in which the specifications of each of the parts composing the building such as a bearing wall, curtain wall, interior wall and floor are standardized and rooms are designed and constructed in optional arrangement, is composed to predict response values in the earthquake in an estimation target planning, by setting beforehand a response value estimation formula, in which the quantities of the bearing force factors per unit weight of the building are variables, and by substituting the quantities of the bearing force factors per unit weight of the building in the estimation target planning to the response estimation formula. The response value estimation formula is based on the weight of the building and the quantity of the bearing force factors in a plurality of the model planning and the response values analyzed by the analysis method such as time history response analysis considering the bearing walls, curtain walls and interior walls among the respective parts composing the building as the bearing force factors.
