Abstract:

To easily and accurately estimate the strength of a soil improving body formed by a high-pressure jet mixing method, within a short period of time after construction.

An injection rod 1 including a camera 18 capable of photographing the inside of the ground before a hardening material liquid is hardened, and a video sampling rod 5 provided with a sampling part 21 for collecting improved soil from a soil improving body, is allowed to penetrate into the ground, and an image photographed by the camera is displayed on a monitor 24 on the ground. The improved soil of the soil improving body is sampled from the sampling part 21, and a strength measuring sample is prepared from the sampled improved soil. Accelerated curing of the prepared strength measuring sample is performed to measure the strength of the strength measuring sample, and the strength of the soil improving body is estimated based on the strength of the strength measuring sample.
