Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating the temperature of molten metal with high precision.SOLUTION: According to the method, when molten metal is being taken out from one container to another, the luminance of the hot-water flow of the molten metal is imaged. When the temperature of the molten metal is estimated based on the luminance of a taken image, the luminance of an image taken in the middle of the imaging, not around the beginning or the end of the imaging, is used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
