Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the estimation accuracy of the developed torque based on the angular acceleration Δω of an engine. SOLUTION: Angular speed is detected in two different sections of the expansion stroke and the angular acceleration Δω is operated, based on the detection results (S2). Meanwhile, correction terms OMNEHA and OMNEHB are operated based on the rotational speed of engine Ne (S3) while correction terms OMBOHA and OMBOHB are operated, based on the boost (S4). An estimated value of torque T is then calculated (S5) according to the following formula; T=Δω×(OMNEHA×OMBOHA)+(OMNEHB+OMBOHB).
