Abstract:
To easily and precisely evaluate the degree of rust stabilization even after assembled into a structure.
This method is a method of evaluating the degree of rust stabilization for a weather-proof steel material, which is conducted by measuring a rust layer thickness te of the steel material using an eddy current film thickness meter and measuring a rust layer thickness tm of the weather-proof steel material using an electromagnetic film thickness meter, and by finding a difference (te-tm) or a ratio (te/tm).
