Abstract:

To provide a method of evaluating a golf club, quantifying golfer's evaluation on the golf club.

This evaluation method includes: a step (St1) of measuring the operation of the golf club during the time from time Ts to time Tf in a swing; a step (St2) of obtaining power index value Pw in time series during the time from the time Ts to the time Tf based on the measurement result of the operation; a step (St4) of calculating a power integration value Sp obtained by integrating the power index value Pw during the time from the time Ts to the time Tf; a step (St4) of calculating club energy Eg of the golf club at the time Tf; and a step (St5) of quantitatively evaluating the club fitting based on the power integration value Sp and the club energy Eg. The power index value Pw is a value correlated with power of work applied from the golfer to the golf club.
