Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a pulverizing capacity of a vertical mill which highly accurately sets a pulverizing capacity of a vertical mill when a biomass raw material is pulverized.SOLUTION: A method for evaluating a pulverizing capacity of a vertical mill includes: a step of preliminarily pulverizing a biomass raw material to form a biomass pulverized substance having a previously set predetermined raw material particle size; a step of pulverizing the biomass pulverized substance by a Hardgrove grindability test to calculate a Hardgrove grindability index; a step of determining a correction integer based on a mill pulverizing capacity correction integer previously set using the Hardgrove grindability index; and a step of evaluating the biomass pulverizing capacity from the reference biomass pulverizing capacity and the correction index.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
