Title:
METHOD OF EVALUATING SUPERCONDUCTING CHARACTERISTIC, EVALUATION DEVICE THEREOF, AND EVALUATION PROGRAM THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015175733
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating superconducting characteristic, which allows an evaluation test of superconducting characteristics which avoids a risk of burning of a test piece, an evaluation device thereof, and an evaluation program thereof.SOLUTION: A method of evaluating superconducting characteristics includes: a retaining step (S10) of retaining, in a cooling bath, a cryogen in which a test body comprising a high-temperature superconducting rod wire obtained by laminating a plurality of layers including at least a superconducting layer is immersed to be cooled at its critical temperature or lower; a current supply step of causing a current to flow to the test body while changing the magnitude of the current up to a critical current value of the test body; and a measurement step of measuring a voltage generated by the current. The critical current value of the test body is controlled so as to be equal to or lower than a current value which generates a critical heat flux of a stabilized metal layer being an alternative path of an excess current of the superconducting layer out of the plurality of layers.
