Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase workability, by excavating ground, erecting support members, and widening the support members in cooperation with a first gripper and a jack.
SOLUTION: When excavating ground, a gripper 3 is widened to contact the inner wall of a tunnel liner L to support an excavating machine 1. Then a jack 4 is stretched to thrust the excavation machine 1 while rotating the cutter head of the excavating part 2 and excavating ground. The reactive force is transmitted to the liner L in the position B through the gripper 3. After thrusting by one stroke, the liner L is erected in a new position A. The expansion part of the liner L in the position B is replaced by a steel member or the like. And the excavating part 2 is temporarily fixed by a front jack and the gripper 3 is pulled to the excavating part 2 side by the jack 4. And further, the gripper 3 is widened to support the excavating machine 1 and the liner L at the position A is widened. In this way, since a large reactive pressure can be obtained at a low plane pressure, it can be applied for a soft rock part and the construction period can be reduced and further, damage of the liner can be prevented.
