To provide an inexpensive method where a terminal can run a terminal application under the control of a subscriber identification module in a mobile station of a radio communication system.

In a radio communication system where a subscriber identification module 4 and a terminal 3 which cooperate with the subscriber identification module 4 configure part of a mobile station, a method by which the terminal 3 runs at least part of terminal applications 31-33 under the control of the subscriber identification module 4 is provided. This method includes a step where the subscriber identification transmission module 4 transmits a start command to the terminal 3 in order that the module 4 allows the terminal 3 to execute at least part of the terminal applications, and a step where the terminal 3 executes the start command to run at least part of the terminal applications 31-33 and to acquire a control right.
