Title:
METHOD FOR EXTRACTING ELEMENT FROM SEA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018165376
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect a large amount of metal such as lanthanoid and actinoid, Fe, Al and noble metal such as gold if they are converted into plants.SOLUTION: A method for extracting an element from sea includes mainly extracting a metal element existing in all of the natural world from sea. All of elements existing in the natural world are contained in sea water. Though elements produced in a laboratory are different, the elements are converted into plants so as to extract the element, and a wire of FeN (iron nitride) having an average diameter of 20 cm is hung down to a depth of 250 m from a sea water surface. The wire is formed to become gradually thin so as to have a diameter to such a degree that the wire can bear a weight of the grown element. First, mainly, a lanthanoid-based element and an actinoid-based element float in the vicinity of 250 m in a form of fine particles. The element having a small density floats in a narrow place. Seeds of all of solid elements and metal element are slightly stuck to the wire as shown in the figure. The seeds are grown due to the metal bond after 1 to 2 years to become a large ingot. In other words, all of the elements are grown. As it is understood, in the sea water, an element having a smaller density is stuck to a seed of a corresponding element of a wire in a shallower place and an element having a larger density is stuck to a seed of a corresponding element of the wire in a deeper place. (In other words, seeds are stuck to wire almost proportional to density of element). As a result, all of the elements are formed into a circular plate like ingot, which leads to mass production. FeN (iron nitride) is molecular metal that I devised. Labor cost for any metal can be suppressed compared to metal taken from mine, and cost is inexpensive.
