To provide a method for extracting silica whose extraction time is shorter and which has higher economical efficiency because of a simpler device and labor saving in processes than a conventional technology.SOLUTION: A silica extraction method includes: an immersion step of loading water and silica-containing raw stone into a device subjected to pressure; and a heating step of extracting silica by ebullition in a state where the device is pressurized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
