Abstract:
PURPOSE: To comparatively easily extrude a semihollow material of high strength series aluminum alloy such as A2000 series, A5000 series and A7000 series, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A mandrel 2 and a forming hole 7 into which a tongue forming part 8 is projects inward are provided and a solid die 1 provided with a mandrel passing hole 9 to pass the mandrel 2 is used in the tongue forming part 8. Under a state that the mandrel 2 is inserted into a billet B and the mandrel passing hole 9 of the solid die 1, the mandrel 2 and a stem 5 are driven forward to perform extrusion.
