PURPOSE: To prepare an extrusion-moldable blend having extrudability and shape retentivity comparable to those of a blend contg. asbestos and to obtain a cement product having strength comparable to that of a cement product contg. asbestos by curing and hardening by blending cement with siliceous aggregate, pulp, Mg(OH)2 powder, a metallic salt of higher fatty acid or a synthetic resin emulsion and water.

CONSTITUTION: A proper amt. of an extruding aid and a required amt. of water are added to a blend consisting of, by weight, 35-45% cement, 40-45% siliceous aggregate, 4-7% pulp, 2-20% Mg(OH)2 powder and the balance, preferably 0.5-3% metallic salt of higher fatty acid such as magnesium stearate of 0.5-5% synthetic resin emulsion such as acrylic resin emulsion. They are mixed and extrusion- molded and the resulting molded body is cured and hardened.
